Global Missions

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." - Matthew 27:19-20

Jesus shared the Gospel - the good news of God's mercy and grace to us! And God wants us to be so moved by His love that we share it with others. We support several missions around the globe that are doing amazing work for people. Gary Wirth serves CCC as our Elder who oversees our Missions Ministry financial support and communication efforts.

Each Fall at CCC we have a Missions Month where we take a moment each Sunday morning in worship to give a missions update and highlight one of the global or local mission partners of CCC. We also hold an annual Soup and Chili Cookoff and Missions Raffle Fundraiser to boost our missions giving before year end.

  • Haven of Hope Orphanage in Digos City, Philippines is sponsored by Sowers International Ministries based in California. This orphanage rescues children from poverty and neglect and provides them with a loving home, education, and hope for the future.
  • Jaclupan Church of Christ in Jaclupan, Phillipines. CCC members Joe and Andrea Randall planted Hi-Way Church near Cebu, but have since moved back to Round Rock. As they shared their missionary journey with CCC, we couldn't wait to add Hi-Way Church to our team of supported missions.
  • Eagles' Nest Orphanage in Solola, Guatemala is an amazing ministry that takes in orphans from the surrounding area, loving them by giving them a home and an education and surrounding them with caring adults. Eagles' Nest operates their own school on their campus. Teams from CCC have taken several summer trips to provide education and dental care to the kids and adults at Eagles' Nest, as well as the people of Solola.
  • Children's International - CCC currently supports 1 child through Children's International - 17 year old Angel de Jesus Sandoval Niebles in Columbia. CI is a great ministry that establishes community centers to fight poverty and give children love, medical care, and education. You can sponsor a child of your own through CI.
  • Teach Beyond - Beth Ridgeway ministers with Teach Beyond, a ministry organization dedicated to teaching the English language in foreign countries as a way to develop relationships and build bridges that lead to Gospel encounters. Beth and her family reside in Hungary, Budapest where Beth teaches at the International School of Budapest.
  • Dallas Christian College provides a Christian college-level education and leadership development for students and adults. DCC pioneered adult degree completed education in the Dallas area and works closely with the Nexus Network to plant new churches and prepare Christian leaders for church planting ministry.

Missions giving at CCC is done by designation only. This means that financial offerings that are made to CCC do not support missions unless you designate a portion to missions on your check. On Sunday mornings, you can also use the worship center giving envelopes to designate a portion of your cash offerings. If you are giving online, you can designate an offering to missions.
