"But whoever would be great among you must be your servant,and whoever would be first among you must be your slave,even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." - Matthew 20:26-27
In scripture the church is often called the Body of Christ. This is because all people of Christian faith are one church, one body, together. And also because, just like a body has many different essential and unique parts, the church also is made up of people with different talents and gifts given by God himself. In fact, you are created to be the servant to others that only you can be.
The goal of serving others is to demonstrate the self-less love of God, and to build relationships where the Gospel message of Jesus can be shared. We support missions around the globe, and we also support local ministries in the Round Rock and Austin area.
You aren't following Jesus until you are serving others!
