Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12

We believe that teenagers occupy a great position in the Kingdom: they are simultaneously both the current & future leaders of the Church. In the years to come, the current generation of teenagers will step into the roles of deacons, Sunday school teachers, preachers, worship leaders, and missionaries. And currently they are our missionaries to some of the most unchurched in cultures. CCC wants to equip teenagers to be the committed Christ-followers and leaders they are meant to be. We believe we do that by cultivating three relationships.

First is the VERTICAL. That's our relationship with God. We want students to grow in their love for Jesus and their obedience to Him. This happens primarily through worship and discipleship.

Second is the INNER. That's our relationship with other believers. We want students to build and strengthen relationships with other believers, both for their joy and for the good of Christ's Kingdom. This happens primarily through fellowship and discipleship.

Last is the OUTER. That's our relationship with those who aren't yet Christ-followers. We want students to be equipped and challenged to love, serve, and take the gospel to the nations. This happens primarily through ministry and evangelism.

Bottom line is that we exist to help students own their faith through worshiping Christ,
loving the community of faith, and serving the nations.

And crucial in all this is the role of the family. CCC believes strongly that the family is the God-ordained place for discipleship to happen. So every chance we get, we try to equip parents to be the primary disciplers of their children. You can get our parent resources every two weeks in our Parent Newsletter (contact Ryan to get signed up).

Each Wednesday night we have a worship gathering designed specifically for students. It's a time of games, fellowship, worship, Bible study, and discussion. This year we will be working our way through a series called THE JESUS STUDIES, where each month we will will look specifically at what Jesus said regarding things like our identity, culture, tough times, relationships, and more.

We have a different series every month, so check below to see what we are studying. And parents, click the link below the image to download an overview of that month's series and weekly parent pages based on that week's lesson (posted on Thursday mornings).

September 2020 Teaching Series...

Series Overview  |  Week 1  |  Week 2  |  Week 3  |  Week 4

We are currently meeting in-person for MIDWEEK each Wednesday night with appropriate social distancing measures being taken.

Each Sunday morning we have Sunday school Bible study just for students. This is a time of focused Bible study where we want students to encounter the gospel throughout the stories in the Bible. We our currently using the Gospel Project as our curriculum, tackling the narrative of the Bible in chronological fashion.

Since our Sunday morning classes aren't currently meeting, we are producing a recap video and several at-home resources so you can be your student's small group leader during this season. You can watch the videos each Sunday below, on the Gospel Project page, or on YouTube. You can also find downloadable resources on our Gospel Project page, the weekly email, or below.
