"Oh come, let us worship and bow down! Let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand." - Psalm 95:6-7
Worship should be our response to God for what He has done for us. The form of worship, or what we specifically do is not nearly as important as who we are worshiping. Worship can be singing, or playing and instrument. Worship can just as easily be raking leaves, having a meeting, talking to someone, or even working at your job. Worship can be done alone between just you and God, or done with other people. The important fact of worship is not what you are doing but who you are worshiping. God created all people, and allows us to be in relationship with Him. Because of these things we respond to Him in thankfulness for what he has done.
